One of my personal 2024 goals is to be a happier person. Being a happier person is a pretty broad goal, so I created smaller actionable steps that will lead me to being happier. One of my actionable steps is to engage in a random act of kindness at least once per month.
This post is meant to share random act of kindness ideas in hopes that this speaks to at least one reader's soul!
Random Acts of Kindness:
Buy someone a coffee
Pay for the car behind you in drive through
Text someone you haven't talk to in a while and let them know you're thinking about them
Send a kind message to someone who needs it
Send an appreciation message to someone who deserves it
Bring a friend their favorite snack
Send a sick friend or family member a care package
Offer to provide childcare for a friend who needs a break
Hand a stranger a gas station gift card
Buy a gift card to a restaurant and leave it somewhere with a note for a stranger to find
Keep a stack of thank you cards in your vehicle and hand them out to people providing a service to you (gas station cashiers, drive thru employees, restaurant servers, etc.)
Donate money to charity
Give homeless person a meal, blanket, backpack, care products, money, etc.
Leave a kind note in a stranger's car windshield
Donate money to a random GoFundMe account
This list can go on forever, but I'll stop here. If you decided to engage in one of these acts, please comment on my post and let me know which one! If you have other ideas of kindness not on my list, feel free to share below as well!
